How do you get over something?

Expressing complaints about one’s own life is sometimes good. Letting others know one’s issues not only gives others better understanding of oneself, possibly indicating that one has put his/her trust upon the others, but also provides the opportunity for them to give consolations and perhaps solutions. On the other hand, the others can also learn from these experiences for their own benefits.
It is interesting to note that whether they realise it or not, most people have the ability to advise others in dealing with all sorts of problems. However, when the problems hit themselves, for some odd reasons, suddenly all these principles are suddenly lost in thin air.
Therefore, in such circumstances, the best solution is to deny oneself and position him/herself as the one providing the assistance. As was indicated earlier, it is not that one does not know what to do to tackle the issues. One was simply too drifted by the situation, which is fully understandable, that he/she may not realise that the real focus should be how to solve the problems.
