my 100 blog entry, i wish i could make it as special as it suppose to be, but really... nothing that special to share :)
on my last entry, i sounded abit too positive about my life here in brissie... but the truth now, i still waiting for a job... the earliest that i can is on the 4th of nov... and tomorrow i need to do health check for the company... i guess i was abit too cocky about it... and admiting that i can be cocky sometimes is something right?
still relating to the learning experience, i'm reading a book called the powerful wisdom from chinese ancient stories at the moment... it is written in weird indonesian language, well at least for me, probably not for other, but anyway... it is full of short full of wisdom stories and one of them is about an old man and his son, they lived in a small village and the son had a horse... he loved this horse so much he spent most o his time with it... until one day the horse disappeared. everyone in the village came to pay a visit to the old man and said, poor you and your son, they've heard what happened with the horse and the horse was the only valuable thing that they owned... then the old man said, well losing the horse can be a bad thing to think but also it can might bring a good thing later in life... everyone that heard it were confused cos they were not familiar with his reaction of the event... but they just kept it in their mind until one day the horse came back and brought more horses along with it... therefore the old man had many beautiful horses now... the news spreaded once again and everyone in the village came to visit the old man again and this time to congratulate the old man... but the old man instead of saying happy things, he said now we owned many beautiful horses, we can see it as a good thing but also as a bad thing... then everyone who listened once again went home thinking what a weird way to think... now, since the old man had many beautiful horses, the son had a new hobby, which was to ride horses... he will ride one horse and another according to how he felt until one day he fell down and broke his foot. this time, once again village people came and pay a visit to the old man house and said sorry to hear about his son... and again the old man said, this event can be interpreted as a bad thing but might bring a good thing... this time the village people already used to hearing it... then war came and the king ordered every young man in the village had to come and join the army, so every young man left the village except for the old man's son... later on they heard that all of those young people died in the war and only the old man's son survive...
im guessing the moral from this story is that a bad event in your life can turn out to be a good thing later on in life... and i really want to believe it... that probably me not getting a job in hk and got rejected and so on will bring good things later on in my life... so please please please, let it be right....
xoxo,
Aby
